Possibly Endless Golf but now with a crank.

Possibly Endless Golf is a minimalist procedural golf game about taking your time, reading the terrain and seeing how far you can get.

This Playdate edition has been rebuilt in Lua for the handheld’s 1-bit screen and crank. Aim through a full 360 degrees, choose your power, apply spin with the crank and attempt to conquer a deterministic sequence of increasingly unusual courses.

There are no timers or competitive leaderboards—just you, the ball, the terrain and a steadily increasing shot counter.

One game, many machines

Possibly Endless Golf began as a MonoGame project and was released on Steam in 2023. I’ve since been exploring how the same basic idea changes when rebuilt for very different systems and formats.

I like the idea of Possibly Endless Golf becoming a continuing porting experiment: the same tiny golf game interpreted through the strengths and limitations of different machines.

If there’s another system you would like to see it on, let me know.
